Teenage Portrait Shoots
Nobody said being a teenager was easy! In fact it can be a very difficult time for a lot of teens as they struggle with confidence, popularity, developing their personalities and finding out who they really are.
We always find that our teen photo shoots are a great way for them to look at their appearance in a different way. A photo shoot helps to develop confidence and express their personalities. A lot of teenagers are self-conscious about skin issues, but this is easily overcome with some clever editing so there is no need to worry!

We recently had the pleasure of welcoming Shauna for her teen photo shoot. Shauna was delighted to bring along her new puppy Holly. Holly was the perfect ice breaker, putting everyone at ease from the offset. She was so well behaved and the perfect model.
The shoot was great fun. Shauna was so relaxed in front of the camera, posing with her best friend. Everyone was thrilled with the results and we captured some amazing images. Shauna will now have some lovely portraits of her teenage self to cherish in the years ahead.

Teen portrait photo shoots can be a great opportunity for any teenagers with aspirations of entering the world of modelling. In their studio photo shoot, they learn how to stand, how their hair looks up and down and develop their confidence. We always love these shoots! Teenagers are a breath of fresh air and youthfulness. The teens gain so much from the photo shoot and the images make a lovely keepsake, as they will never again be so vibrant and beautiful.
It can also be a lovely way to mark the occasion before they to go to college. We find it’s sometimes nice to get a family shoot in conjunction with the teen portrait, as the family unit will never again be the same once someone flees the nest! Mary is always present to assist at the teen photo shoots and we also ask a family member to be present.
Our studio is always welcoming and comfortable, and we try to always put everyone at ease. It’s such a lovely occasion and a lovely memory to capture for both Mum and Dad and the teenagers themselves.
