An on location photo shoot has become very popular in the last couple of years.  People have made the most of family occasions to avail of these precious times together. When you have your shoot in a place that is special to you then it is personal to the family involved and priceless in time to come.

The world is a small place now and a lot of family members are working away in different countries, only getting home for the special occasions like weddings, anniversaries, birthdays, etc. A family photo shoot on location in your own back garden gives each of your family members a little piece of that garden to bring back with them – a little piece of home to treasure.

This on location family photo shoot was in Lahardane, Co. Mayo. Shot in the family home garden, with the beautiful scenery of Nephin Mountain in the background, it’s a stunning setting for a family photo – what a backdrop!!

With all of the family home for a special occasion, this family wanted to make the most of their time together and get some nice family images at their home. Weather wise, it was perfect for this shoot. You’d be amazed at just how small a window of good weather you need to make magic! 

The garden looked lovely and the family members were great fun to work with. We covered a couple of different angles featuring different parts of the garden. Each member of the family got their own little session too within the shoot, so there was something here for everyone to look back on in years to come.
