We recently had the pleasure of welcoming baby Patrick to the studio for his newborn photoshoot. He was accompanied by his mum Ruth and Dad Sean on the day and was the perfect model. Newborn photoshoots generally take place within the first ten days of your little ones arrival. We know this is a busy time for all new parents so we try to make sure the photo session is as stress free as possible. Both Mary and Sean have undertaken comprehensive training in the UK in posing babies correctly and safely and we use the highest quality baskets and garments to ensure your baby is comfortable throughout the process. They will never be that small again, and the images from the newborn shoot capture those cherished moments, keeping those important memories alive forever.

We like to combine beautiful family shots with detailed shots of the hands and feet, illustrating how tiny and vulnerable your baby is at this time. We also don’t believe in using filters or plugins for editing purposes. All of our editing is done in-house and on an individual basis, capturing the essence of each baby to perfection.
The black and white images resulting from this type of shoot make beautiful art pieces for any home. Sean has the lighting down to perfection at this stage, with years of experience of newborn photography. He lights for contrast with the black and white images, and is a pro at presenting all new mums in the best light and to their best advantage. Both Ruth and Sean were delighted with their results.
